This Privacy Policy explains how Airendil Networks (“Airendil”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use airendil.com, docs.airendil.com, and tools.airendil.com (the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account data — your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider) when you create an account.
• Your Content — network designs, nodes, settings, and files you choose to save to the cloud.
• Payment data — when you subscribe, your payment is handled by Stripe. We receive limited billing metadata (such as subscription status and plan) but not your full card number.
• Support & bug reports — information you submit through the in-app bug reporter or by email, including any logs you choose to include.

Information collected automatically

• Technical data — when the tool loads map, elevation, and land-cover tiles, your browser’s IP address and request data are necessarily sent to those providers to deliver the tiles.
• Local storage — the tool stores settings and session data in your browser’s local/session storage so your work persists. This stays on your device and is not a tracking cookie.
• Analytics — we currently use no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking. If we add privacy-friendly, aggregate usage analytics in the future, we will update this Policy.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• to create and secure your account and deliver cloud saves;
• to process subscriptions and prevent fraud (via Stripe);
• to respond to support requests and fix bugs; and
• to comply with legal obligations.

3. Service Providers (Subprocessors)

We share information only with providers that help us run the Service, under their respective terms:

4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK users)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), consent (where requested), and legal obligation.

5. Data Retention

We keep account data and Your Content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example, billing records) to meet legal obligations.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can export Your Content as KML at any time inside the tool. To exercise other rights, contact support@airendil.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. Security

We rely on reputable providers and industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice.
